Love these shorts, the paper bag style waist is perfect for creating interest and detail around the middle to create the illusion of a waist for those straight up and down figures like me. Went my normal size and did not disappoint. Love the pockets and wide-leg detail. Only slight issue I didn't think about before buying, is that when wearing these white shorts with a hot pink poppy frill, the top can't be tucked into the shorts as the bright pink shows through the white fabric. With a shorter tank that doesn't go below the waist band it's all good. Linen look is a crisp, casual look. If you prefer a more drapey look, the PB sweetie shorts may suit you better.
