The House of Augustine is now home to 11 labels that you will find within this site. We started this journey in 2008 and every year continue to grow and develop our brand offering.  

What began as an idea to brighten up the NZ fashion scene, has quickly grown from a start-up in our garage, to be one of the industry’s leading fashion houses for everything from casual daywear, to glam special occasion wear at attainable price points. Our labels are stocked in around 40 boutiques throughout the country, plus we have recently started selling into Australia.  We also have our own 5 stand-alone flagship stores that carry our full collections.

 With every new label and new collection, we strive towards our ultimate goal of having a style and a garment to suit every single lady that walks through our doors or clicks onto our site. Ultimately, we strive to bring more colour to the wardrobes of ladies everywhere, less black, more brights and bling. 

Amongst our labels, you will find Charlo for luxe daywear, Pretty Basics for wardrobe staples, Amaya for neutral sophistication, Honey Denim for jeans, Sweat Republic for activewear, Stella Royal for the curvy figure, Hey Monday for your feet and our hero label, Augustine for everything colourful, beautiful, unique and treasured.

Augustine is owned by Kelly & Nathan Coe, who along with their 3 daughters Indiana, Demi and Havana, live and work in Auckland. Kelly is the designer and creative brains, while Nathan is the business/financial and brand development expert. Together, they lead an incredible team of dedicated staff who all love and live the brands.

Most of our Augustine brands are made in a selection of small boutique factories in China (with our Hey Monday Shoes being handmade in Brazil). Prior to Covid-19, Kelly and Nathan worked in the office themselves when they made their frequent visits to China (3-4 trips per year). Each Augustine style is a limited run with most styles that end up on our shop floor only being one of 50 pieces throughout our stores. We are a small company making big changes to the colour palette of the NZ fashion industry. We are lucky to be manufactured in such small factories that care about our quality and we greatly care about the workers that work there, some becoming good friends of Kelly & Nathan.

 We will never be a large chain store, we love the personal touch of being a boutique family run business from Kiwi land.

Internally, that means fostering an inclusive and safe workplace that prioritises our employee’s wellbeing and happiness. Externally, we are always seeking ways to enhance our contribution to the community that supports our business. We have donated to many NZ charities and organisations along the years via our Charity Shop and in recent years via events (such as our annual Augustine Life event) as well as our donations option at checkout which is currently supporting Mummys in Need.

Our customers are an integral part of our successful business and our dedicated Augustine VIP Facebook Group offers an online community for our beautiful, loyal customers who support each other and embrace our love of all things colour. Women supporting women!

We also believe in giving fashion a second chance with helping to maximise the recycling of clothes here in NZ by encouraging customers to on-sell unwanted clothing via Trade Me etc as well as donating garments to charities. Nothing makes us happier than seeing our clothes get a second life and bring colour into someone else’s life.

We are also proud sponsors of the Silver Ferns and three ANZ Premiership netball teams.



We have an amazing team of staff and as a company we are committed to building a positive, inclusive environment for everyone who works for us.

We appreciate all our staff and often have functions/events for our team as well as offering a ‘day off’ birthday gift for our full time staff. Being a fashion brand, we also offer our staff a healthy clothing allowance as we love seeing all our staff looking fabulous wearing our latest collections.

Our head office and warehouse are located in Mt Wellington, Auckland.

We have 5x stand-alone flagship stores throughout NZ – Auckland: Newmarket & Takapuna, Mount Maunganui, Wellington and Christchurch.

We are a dedicated and fun-loving team who live and breathe all things colour!
